We are excited to introduce improvements to how family payments are processed in Archy, with key changes designed to help you save time. Now, when processing payments for families in Archy, you can collect for an entire family in one click, simplifying the process and boosting your collection rate.
This improvement was developed in response to feedback from practices using Archy. We heard from a practice about a family of eight, each with individual appointments, who preferred to use a single card for all their payments. Before we introduced these family payment improvements, processing these transactions meant charging each family member separately—a tedious task. This would often lead to the family receiving eight different receipts and the same number of charges on their credit card statement.
Thanks to improvements in Archy’s family payment functionality, you can now select multiple family members and process the payment for the entire family in one single transaction using a designated credit card saved on file. After charging the family’s card on file, a detailed receipt is generated, breaking down each family member’s procedures and their respective costs. Additionally, the ledger for each family member in Archy is automatically updated to reflect their share of the payment. This streamlined approach simplifies collecting payments from families by allowing you to charge a card saved specifically for family use, handling multiple family members’ payments with just a single click.
