Offline Imaging Mode: No Internet, No Problem

We are excited to introduce the latest feature in Archy: Offline Imaging Mode.

This addresses one of the common apprehensions we hear from practices considering switching from on-premise servers to the cloud - providing quality care for patients in the rare event that the internet goes down.

We typically suggest having a backup mobile hotspot or satellite internet provider for redundancy if you have issues with occasional internet downtime. But in most areas with good cellular connectivity, using a cell phone as a hotspot is enough to keep your practice running with Archy, as it’s designed to work well even at slower internet speeds. Still, we wanted to provide additional failsafe capabilities, so practices feel comfortable migrating to the cloud. With Offline Imaging Mode, even if your practice loses internet, you can continue taking patient X-rays without any internet. The images are securely saved on your computers and uploaded into Archy’s cloud once connectivity is restored.
